The second Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo (herein after referred as YRDICIE) will be held in the NECC (Shanghai) from Nov 21st to Nov 24th, 2019. Preparations for the expo have been carried out smoothly under the direction of the Publicity Department of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee. In order to get more exhibitors engaged in this expo, Yangpu District, Jing’an District and Hongkou District successively held Pep Rally and Project Promotion Meetings for YRDICIE 2019 under the guidance of the Publicity Department of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, Administration of Culture and Tourism of Yangpu District and Hongkou District and Commission of Commerce of Jing’an District, leaders of relevant department of city level and district level as well as representatives of cultural institutions and enterprises of district level attended the meetings.
Shanghai Bilibili Gaming, Perfect World, Shanghai Music Valley, Hongkou Culture Museum, Riot Games, NEOTV and other organizations and companies actively attended the Pep Rally and Project Promotion Meetings. During the communication session, representatives of these companies spoke enthusiastically to get more details of the expo and expressed active support to the preparation of YRDICIE 2019.
Under the policy of “50 Articles on Shanghai Cultural and Creative Industries” to accelerate the construction of “E-sport Capital of the World”, E-sport industries in Yangpu District and Jing'an District have developed distinctive characteristics. The introduction of new policies such as“ 23 Articles of E-sports” in Yangpu District and “Development Plan of E-sport Industry in Jing'an District” has promoted the continuous upgrading of E-sport industry in both districts. Hongkou District, as the key area of Shanghai Cultural and Creative Industries, has unique advantages in music industries, e-sports, digital publication, cultural finance and so on and is rich in industrial resources. On this basis, through organizing and participating in the YRDICIE, relying on the platform effect of the expo, districts of Shanghai can get a chance to show their development of cultural industries to a greater extent, and at the same time, more extensive business opportunities will be obtained which will actively promote the prosperity of enterprises themselves and cultural industries in districts.
